In general the toilet or lavatory can link with problems or difficulties in you that need release. It can also link with the ‘stink’ – the unacceptable parts of you, that you do not want others to know about or be exposed to. So any mess in the toilet can be saying there are things about yourself that need attention and cleaning up. For washing see Bath or Washing.
The bathroom is also the one place we have an excuse to be alone, and so is sometimes used in dream to show a need for privacy and personal space.
Useful questions:
Is there something I need to clear out of what I feel or think at the moment?
Am I feeling there is something I feel pressure about and need to let go?
Am I finding it hard to find privacy to be myself?
